New Mazda3 Brings Excitement to Compact Segment

2014 mazda3

If you’re looking for a brand new car, but you’re living on a budget, you might be crestfallen, thinking there’s no fun cars out there at a price you can afford. Mazda begs to differ, though—they’ve introduced the 2014 Mazda3 just to prove you wrong. The new Mazda3 brings the excitement to the typically mundane compact segment, with a host of features and technology starting at only $19,000.

The Mazda3 flouts conventional compact car wisdom every way it possibly can—starting even with its exterior design. The Mazda3  borrows its grille from the upscale Mazda6, just part of a sporty exterior that proves that this compact aims to separate itself from the pack. Take one look at the new Mazda3 and one word will spring automatically to mind: sporty.

Fortunately, the Mazda 3 is more than an empty shell. It’s not just a sexy frame trying to masquerade as something greater than it is. It just really is that great. Don’t believe us yet? Check out the new 2.5L four-cylinder engine, complete with SkyActiv technology. That baby revs the Mazd 3 up to 185 horsepower while delivering awesome gas mileage: 28 mpg city and 38 highway. Or open the door and check out the swanky exterior, complete with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an easy-to-use infotainment system.

The 2014 Mazda 3 is available now, so come by Parks Mazda to check it out—in either sedan or hatchback form—at your earliest convenience.

Redesigned Mazda3 Impresses in Crowded Compact Hatchback Segment

2014 mazda6

The Mazda3 has always been a likable car, but now, redesigned for the 2014 model year, its vaulted far ahead of its competition to become simply the best compact car, hatchback or sedan, in the segment. Don’t just take it from us here at Parks Mazda, though—take it from the expert car reviewers over at Edmunds.com, who like the car so much that they at one point compare it to a Mercedes.

Edmunds describes the new Mazda3 as a vehicle that displays “impeccable balance” and features “sharper styling inside and out, improved ergonomics, and plenty of fun-to-drive personality.” The review site literally had nothing bad to say about the 2014 Mazda3, especially in its hatchback incarnation. Thus, sporting such a long list of positives, it’s no wonder that the Mazda 3 grabbed the top ranking in its segment.

While Edmunds favorite thing about the redesigned Mazda 3 is the interior—which is, no doubt, extremely comfortable and convenient—we’re just as enamored with the engine options that provide you ultimate driving comfort on the roads. The 3’s base-model engine is a 2.0L, 155 horsepower package, but you can kick it up a notch to a 2.5L, 184 horsepower option if you choose. The Mazda3 simply out-muscles, out-hustles, and out-bustles all its competition. Come by and check it out today!

Mazda Connect Blends Safety and Tech

2014 mazda3

Mazda will present the next-generation Mazda Connect car connectivity system at the 2014 International Consumers Electronics Show taking place between January 7th and January 10th.

Mazda Connect, which was recently launched in the all-new Mazda3, is designed to bring the convenience and appeal of smartphones into the car without compromising any of the driver’s and passengers’ safety.

Combined with Mazda’s Human Machine Interface design philosophy, which minimizes the amount of time the driver’s eyes are off the road when interacting with the in-car display, the latest Mazda models are set to be some of the safest vehicles on the market before their actual crash-worthiness is even tested.

Mazda will also be showcasing a new application platform designed to enable more App developers to create and offer applications for safe use in Mazda vehicles.

No other company will offer the same level of safety, convenience, and entertainment. Come to Parks Mazda to be a part of the experience.

2014 Mazda3; Car of the Year

2014 mazda3

AutoGuide.com has named the new Mazda3 as its 2013 “Car of the Year” for its “attractive styling inside and out, with impressive features in versatile packaging.”

The 2014 Mazda3 was one of five finalists vying for the title, including the new 2014 Mazda6 in the Mid-Size Sedan category. It stood out for many reasons: on the outside, because of its emotive character lines that express the brand’s new KODO “Soul of Motion” design language; and on the inside, because of the famous SKYACTIV® engine technology, the i-ACTIVESENSE suite of pre-crash detection systems, and the next-gen MAZDA CONNECT™ connectivity system.

There’s no doubt in our minds, however, that the most impressive part of the Mazda3 is its engines. Customers can choose the standard SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter gasoline engine, which produces up to 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque with one of the best fuel economy ratings in its class at 41 highway mpg, or the optional, more powerful 2.5-liter, 184 horsepower and 185 torque engine which, when equipped with Mazda’s exclusive i-ELOOP tech, still delivers ridiculously good mpg up to 39 on the highway.

And the best part? You can find the Mazda3 right here at Parks Mazda.
