The 2016 CX-3 Design is Powerful and Efficient

2016 CX-3 design

Mazda is starting engine production at a new power-train plant in Thailand, which it has named the Mazda Power-train Manufacturing Company. This new production base for SKYACTIV engines was created in response to an Eco-Car program created by the Thai government, which rewards tax breaks to fuel-efficient vehicles, such as the CX-3.

Speaking of-the new 2016 CX-3 design comes with a powerful but efficient engine with the high-tech SKYACTIV system. This compact SUV is one of Mazda’s most powerful, according to Automotive World, giving drivers the perfect combination of performance and practicality.

“Mazda is committed to producing vehicles in this country at the same high-quality level as we do in Japan, and delivering to market products that offer Mazda’s unique driving pleasure, in a timely manner,” said Kiyotaka Shobuda. “In doing so, we will further contribute to the development of the Thai automotive industry and enhance the Mazda brand.”

The new manufacturing plant is designed to assist production of the new CX-3 model, starting at $19,960 MSRP in the US. It also comes with three trim selections, as well as off-road and i-ACTIVE all-wheel drive options.

Mazda Headquarters Welcomes Nobel Peace Prize Winner Lech Walesa

Mazda headquarters rests in Hiroshima, often called the city of peace. That’s certainly an intentional association on Mazda’s part, as the company also supports the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates and lobbies for world peace in its own efforts as well. Therefore, it was an exciting day on March 19 when Lech Walesa, 1983 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and current member of the summit, came to visit the Mazda headquarters.

Walesa expressed his personal and political happiness with Mazda during his visit. “In order to make things better in the world, leaders have never given up in the face of difficult challenges and conventional thinking,” he said. “Mazda shares this passion, and I am very happy to be working together with this company as partners.”

Of course, Mazda executives felt very honored by their prestigious visitor and his message of support and endorsement to the company. Back in America, here at Parks Mazda, we want to share the brand’s message of peace and excellence with you—so come see us today to experience the Mazda way!

Mazda Drive for Good Event a Success

Mazda has announced that it is donating a total of $2,751,000 to select charities following its Mazda Drive for Good event which ran from November 25, 2013 through January 2, 2014. During the event, Mazda donated $100 to one of four national or 32 local charities for every vehicle purchased—with the choice of charity left to the customer.

Furthermore, Mazda donated an hour of charitable service for every test drive of a new Mazda vehicle taken during the event, adding up to a total of 56,435 hours. The four eligible national charities were the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and Mazda Foundation. The additional 32 local charities were selected based on dealer input in the local markets.

“Giving back to our communities is a part of who we are,” said Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO of Mazda North American Operations. “At the time of the year when these amazing charities most needed help, Drive for Good gave us a way to help.  And because real charity is more than just giving money, Drive for Good also allowed every Mazda associate to donate their time to help too.”

It’s now too late to participate in the event, but it’s never too late to buy a Mazda. Come to the Parks Mazda dealership for a test drive!
