2015 was great for Mazda and the automaker is looking to keep that trend moving upward in the New Year! That’s why the 2016 Mazda CX-5 is getting a mid-model-year update shortly after its mid-cycle refresh for the 2016 model year. Dubbed “2016.5,” the model brings more standard equipment to the road.
All CX-5 crossover models are getting a backup camera free-of-charge provided they’re equipped with an automatic transmission. That means every model except the base Sport, with a standard six-speed manual, will come with the $400 backup camera without adding to the cost of the vehicle. Mazda know’s how to keep deals with the customer in mind.
The Rear View Camera package includes a seven-inch touchscreen audio system, which is a standard feature as well. Upper-level trims already have the backup camera as a standard feature, but Mazda isn’t forgetting them in all of this love!
The upper-level CX-5 trims will receive navigation as a standard feature. The Touring model now includes heated front seats as a standard feature. Previously, the upper-level models included at $1,625 Technology package. Now, with navigation as a standard feature, that price has dropped $400 to $1,275.
Make sure to stop on by if you have any question. Now let’s be honest, that’s a steal if you ask anyone here at Parks Mazda!
